The North East wind freshened during Saturday and having the lofts in excess of 600km apart once the birds split they would have been in very small numbers trying to soldier on towards there home loft. Obviously very tough well prepared birds were the order of the day.

Birds UP AT 6.45 AM Headed North east out of sight 3 minutes Worthy of special mention Brian and Judy Barbarovich timed 5 in race time, George and Val Morrow timed 2 to win the race, Noel Ballinger also timed 2 all exceptional efforts considering the conditions and that only a handful timed in race time.
